25 th April 2024, Thursday Though Jagruti had been coordinating the trip for over 10 days, it wasn't until Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, that we received confirmation the trip would finally materialize. The vehicle arranged for us for the next 3 days would pick us up from Karjat railway station the following morning, on Thursday, April 25th, 2024. Upon receiving this confirmation, we held a quick but effective meeting in the office to address the immediate issue: how to reach Karjat station. The most logical option was to board a Karjat local train and disembark at our destination, which is precisely what we did. We identified the 8:39 AM Karjat local at Kurla, decided that all of us (Manoj, Jagruti, Dhawal, Pooja, Prajakta & myself) would meet at Kurla station by 8:15 AM and board the same. 26 th April 2024, Friday Our itinerary for April 26th, 2024 warned us it would be the busiest day for travel and sightseeing. Knowing this, we all made a pact the night before to set extra early alarms. After all, it was midsummer, and we wanted to beat the heat by starting our adventures before the sun got too high. Our alarms went off at 4 am, and we sprang into action. After a quick shower and some time to freshen up, we had a little extra time before our driver arrived. We decided to grab some tea at a local shop, and on our way back, something interesting caught my eye!   This sign instantly brought back a childhood story about Muktabai. She was the youngest of four siblings and the only sister to her elder brothers Nivrutti, Gyandev, and Sopan. One day, Muktabai wanted to make sweet buns for them, but she needed a clay plate from the village potter. Unfortunately, a mean leader named Visoba stopped her and told the potters not to help.
